Not every travel day is amazing

We had an inauspicious start to our latest travel day. It was 100 degrees in Lake Havasu the morning we left but as we headed out to the east we gained some altitude and the temperature came down to mid 70's. We ran into blinding rain three times, two of those also had hail embedded in them and we also drove up on a rollover accident in the process of being cleaned up that delayed us for 20 minutes or so. But through it all we tried to keep a positive attitude and it paid off in the end!

We took a small detour through Winslow, Arizona, to pay our respects to the Eagles' "Take it easy" corner (come on sing with me now!)

When we arrived at the USA RV Resort in Gallup, we were treated to a perfect double rainbow over the campsite and some very good BBQ!

Even a rough travel day beats a day at work! Got to love life on the road!
