Lincoln's famous words echo around the battlefields. We took an audio tour around the park and it was a sobering and somber reflection of the battle that turned the tide in the American Civil War. Every life lost was an American one. My wife and I noted that the lessons of this battlefield and others are something we forget all too easily today.
